The Blancos youngster is of the
opinion that his colleagues are the finest forwards the game has to offer
currently, and stated that he sees the duo as role models.
Alvaro Morata has described fellow Real Madrid strikers
Gonzalo Higuain and Karim Benzema as the best attackers in the world.
The 20-year-old has broken into Los Blancos' first team this
season, and followed his match-winning performance in the 2-1 victory over
Levante with a fine outing in the 5-1 trashing of Atheltic Bilbao on Saturday.
Morata has stated that he tries to model his game after
Benzema and Higuain, who he feels should be an example to young players.
"El Pipita and Benzema are the best strikers in the
world. I watch them in games and in every training session and I learn a
lot," the forward was quoted as saying by AS.
"Every time I play I will give everything and I thank
the people who came and encouraged me while I was on the field and supported me
on social networks in recent days," he added.
Morata has made five appearances for Real Madrid's first
team this season, scoring one goal.
